How to use

Drag & drop or select a PDF file.

Pick pages per sheet (2/4/6/9/16), paper size, orientation, and ordering. To place two A4 pages on one A3 sheet, hit “2×A4 → A3” under Common setups, or choose 2-up + A3 + landscape.

Click “Combine onto one sheet” and download the new PDF.
Letter and Tabloid (11×17) layouts
Two pages on one sheet works the same way whether you print on ISO paper (A4 / A3) or US paper (Letter / Tabloid). Pick the pairing that matches the paper in your tray.
Fit two pages on the same sheet
Set pages per sheet to 2-up and leave the paper size as it is (Letter for most US documents). Each pair is scaled down onto one sheet, so you print half as many pages. Check the reduced size first if the document has small type.
Keep the size: 2×Letter → Tabloid
Hit “2×Letter → Tabloid” under Common setups, or choose 2-up + Tabloid + landscape. Two portrait Letter pages sit side by side on one landscape 11×17 sheet — the US equivalent of 2×A4 on A3. Useful for spreads, booklets and posted notices.
This operation goes by several names — N-up, multiple pages per sheet, pages per sheet and PDF imposition all describe the same thing. It is not the same as merging separate PDF files; use Merge PDF for that.
